New web site dirschedl.tech created

Hi,

long time no see 😉 .

After my last post end of January 2020 it got very quiet here. Let me give you an update what happened.

Beginning of March, Nike and I flew to Lanzarote, Canary Islands for another dog, cats and house sitting gig at our friends house. Originally we planned to come back on March 31st, but we got caught in the spanish lockdown starting March 14th. After some ok/nok/ok … our return flight got canceled by Condor.

Now we had to decide to stay or use one of the rerouted emergency return flights via Gran Canaria, Madrid or/and Barcelona to Frankfurt or …. As another friend offered us to stay in his empty house we decided to wait-and-see. The strict Spanish full lockdown lasted for 50 days, but we had a nice garden and one of the cats joined us at the new house. In June the restriction got slowly lifted and we could start to walk & drive around or go the the beach. On July 13, we returned with one of the first TUI flights directly from Lanzarote to Munich.

After cleaning up the large backlog of things-to-do, I restarted my web design activity mid of August. As I wanted to learn more about a full cloud-based setup I’ve rented a V-Server at Strato.de and build another web site from scratch. The result is www.dirschedl.de, my web technology playground. There you will find more information about the web technology I use and about my learning experience as I move on.

For the time being, I plan to focus this website dirschedl.info on photography related topics and dirschedl.de on web technology in general. Lessons I learn, will be applied on both website over time. Let’s see.

Best regards and stay safe

Fritz
